Health and Education Love Project (HELP) is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, dedicated to enhanced access to quality education, vocational training, community engagement and health/wellness services in under-served communities.

MISSION

HISTORY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Health and Education Love Project (HELP) is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, dedicated to enhanced access to quality education, vocational training, community engagement and health/wellness services in under-served communities. Since inception in 2008, Health and Education Love Project (HELP) has positively impacted its spheres of influence with the following notable accomplishments:
  • Donated drugs, pharmaceutical supplies and durable medical equipment worth $5,500 to various organizations on health care missions in Haiti, Jamaica and Nigeria.
  • Donated furniture worth about $62,000 to support Haiti’s educational development in partnership with Broward College and State Senator Daphne Campbell as follows: 31 double carrels, four 4-carrels, and 14 tables with 110 chairs. Also donated furniture to our adopted elementary school in Cape Coast, Ghana.
  • Partnered with St. Teresa Catholic Elementary School, Dunkwa-On-Offin, Central Region, Ghana on its 8-Seater Modern Lavatory project.
  • Awarded Vocational Scholarships of $500 each to needy students of Miami Job Corps and University of Miami.
  • Donated relief materials worth N1,000,000 to Home for the Needy, Benin and the Vocational School for the Blind, Jos Nigeria
  • Donation of relief materials worth N200,000 to Internal Displaced Persons in Nigeria in collaboration with Jos-based Wiggins Walking in the Mission.
  • Donation of Back-to-School backpacks and educational supplies to students in South Florida in collaboration with partner schools and churches in 2022 and 2023.
  • Organized the maiden Health, Education, and Careers Fair in partnership with Christ Apostolic Church, Miami Dade.
  • Volunteered with Feeding South Florida to help rescue and recover food for some of the tri-county area’s approximately 706,000 food insecure.
  • Donation of musical equipment worth N200,000 of to our adopted secondary school in Nigeria to help stimulate students’ holistic development.
  • Donation of home economics equipment worth N150,000 to underserved students in Nigeria to help improve nutritional quality and family life.
